ER Book Report: Dear Agony Aunt

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today, I will pretend to be the character of the story I have read in English e-reader and write a letter to a famous person who helps the problem of the character.

Today, I have read a story in English e-reader and the level B1 Pre-intermediate. The story is entitled “The Locked Room” written by Peter Viney and consisting of 8 pages with total words is 1570. The link is below this image

Here’s the letter:

Dear Dra. Tara Adhisti de Thouars, B.A, M.Psi,

People tell me, my name is Eddie Hampton. I have a problem that is memory loss but there is one thing I do remember when I was hit by a man with his gun along with a big dog beside him. After that, I don’t remember anything like my name, job, address, etc. I keep trying to remember everything but I’m still nothing. There is a policeman who tells me that I’m a thief. How do I restore my memory? Can I be a good person and not be a bad person anymore? I want my memory back and I hope it will help me become a better person. So, I can start my new life with good and positive things. I hope you can help me.

Thank you for your time. I’m looking forward to your advice.

      Best regards,

   Eddie Hampton

Dra. Tara Adhisti de Thouars, B.A, M.Psi

Now, I will explain my reason I choose Dra. Tara Adhisti de Thouars, B.A, M.Psi. Who is she? She is one of the famous female psychologists in Indonesia. She has also completed a double degree program with a BA in Psychology from the University of Queensland, Australia. And graduated from UI in the field of Masters in Adult Clinical Professional Psychology. So, I think she is the right person. Because she already has experience in dealing with a psychological problem. If Eddie Hampton sends a letter to her, she can help his problem. Of course, Eddie’s memory can come back even though it takes a long time.

That’s all from me. Thank you.😊
