Hello, everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I’ve read two stories in the Extensive Reading Central and I will pretend to be the main character of the stories.  1. How the Turtle Won the Race Hi, everyone! Let me introduce myself. My name is Turtle. My creator is Diane. I live in the meadow. One day, I was walking on the road and I heard that the Rabbit is looking for someone that will run against him in a race. After I heard that, I said to the Rabbit “I will race you and I know that I can win”. All other animals were there when the Rabbit laughed at me. Then, the Rabbit said, “Tomorrow when the sun comes up, we will start the race. I will meet you here and I will surely leave you there”. The next day, I went to the meeting place early so I can prepare myself. When I arrived at the meeting place, the Rabbit was not there. Suddenly, there was a little bird come and said to me “The Rabbit said you can start running. He also said that no matter what he is sure that he will be the...

Good evening, everyone! Back to my blog. Today, I will tell you what I read in the Extensive Reading Central. I’ve read two stories in the Extensive Reading Central. The first story I read is “Get your Passion Back Right Now” by Diane. The genre of the story is factual and the subgenre is psychology. That story is in level 5.50 and there are 557 words. The story is about passion, life, and way to get your passion back. I finish reading the story in 4 minutes 53 seconds.  I choose the emoji because after reading the story, I think I agree with it and I feel motivated. So, I love that story because it’s interesting. Do you want to know my expression when I was reading the story? When I read the story, I say “Wah, it’s right”. According to the story, I can imagine what the writer tells. From the story, I can learn many important things for us. And I suggest you to read “Get your Passion Back Right Now”. The second story that I read is “My Little Dog Doug" by Diane. The genre of t...

Good afternoon, everyone! This is my first reading story on ER Central. Now, I will share my experience and reflection.   On ER Central I read “Listen to your Heart”. First of all, I was interested in the title of the story so I want to read it. I like the story because it describes human interest. When I was reading, I enjoyed the story because I can understand what the story tells about. On ER Central, I choose level 5 and it’s suitable for me. I hope I can upgrade to the next level to improve my reading skills. Get your Passion Back Right Now is my plan to read next. Thank you for your attention.

Good evening, everyone! Today I had a discussion with Mr. Daniel and friends. There are eight statements I need to respond: 1. Reading in my first language is fun. 2. Reading English is difficult.   3. I should usually look up new words in my dictionary.   4. Reading English is boring.   5. It is easier to read about sports than science.   6. If I read very fast, it is hard to understand the meaning.   7. Reading out loud is a good idea.   8. Reading English is fun.  I think I’d agree with the first statement. For sure, reading in Javanese or Indonesian language is fun and easier because I understand the meaning, although I don’t really like reading a book. However, I will try to read more books. Reading in English is quite difficult but challenging for me because it is not my first language and sometimes it has complex sentences and unfamiliar words.  Thus, I often check a dictionary on my phone to find the meaning of the words, and then I can al...

Welcome! Hello, my name is Emmanuela Kurnianti. I will tell you about my experience in reading. My first time reading a book was probably when I was in kindergarten or elementary but I don't remember what book it was. So I asked my mother perhaps she knows the book that I read for the first time, “Mom, do you still remember what book that I read for the first time when I was a kid?”. Then my mother answered it, “I think when you were a child you read the bible in the Sunday School." From there I remember the book that I read for the first time was the bible. I have a good memory of my first time reading the bible. When I read it, I can imagine what the contents of the story in the book. I like the book (bible) because it's interesting for me. It has many stories. And my favorite place when I read the book (bible) is in the family room. I enjoy reading a book (bible) in the family room because it is comfortable for me. Sometimes I read the bible alone but usually I ...
