ER Individual Project #2: A Different Ending

back to my blog! Today, I have an individual project about a different ending
for the story I have read in English e-reader. Let's get started.
Today, I have read a story in English e-reader and the level A2 Elementary. The story is entitled "The Knowledge" written by Sue Leather and consisting of 14 pages with total words is 3959. The genre of the story is fiction.
This story tells about a
man who worked as a cab driver named Ricky Thomas. One day on a dark cold
night, the rain was falling heavily in central London. The cab driver was
stopped in front of the man who wears a hat and a black overcoat. On the way to
Chinatown, Ricky was talked with the man about Bruce Lee. The funny thing was
the man said that he is Bruce Lee. So, Ricky was laughed and didn't believe him.
But in a quarter of the way, he said "Stop the taxi" and Ricky
stopped his car. The man was doing some scenes like in one of the Bruce Lee
movies to that cab driver. Arrived in Chinatown, the man paid Ricky and
suddenly he disappeared. He left his parcel in Ricky's car.
At home, Ricky saw Marlene (his girlfriend) with another man in his living room. Ricky was mad and felt like punching him. But something strange happened that night, he felt calm all over. The next day, he was really curious about the parcel belonged to the man (who called himself Bruce Lee), so he tore open it... a pair of blue pyjamas, made of silk. Then, he kept a pair of blue pyjamas in his wardrobe which is like the clothes Bruce Lee wore in the movie Return of the Dragon. After he met the man, everything in his life was changed. He decided to college one day a week, stopped being a cab driver, and wanted to start his own business. One day, he heard a voice said "I'm here Ricky," "I think you've started," from the back of the cab. He was sure that the voice was Bruce Lee. But he couldn't see anyone and the last voice said "You're on the way to the knowledge."
Now, I will narrate the new ending of the story. Let's check this out!
At home, Marlene (his girlfriend) shouted
"Ricky!" as soon as he put the key in the front door. Then, Ricky saw
Marlene with another man in his living room. Ricky said, "What did you do
with the thin man?." She said "Ricky, you're early," and you
didn't phone..." Ricky was very mad. So, he punched the thin man until his
face was bleeding. "Ricky! Stop!" said Marlene and she apologized to
Ricky for what she did. After that, he realized that what he was doing was not
right and it was because of the man (who called himself Bruce Lee).
The next day, he remembered the man's
parcel and wanted to return it. He also wanted to open the parcel but he didn't
do it. Everything in his life was changed. He decided to college one day a
week, stopped being a cab driver, and wanted to start his own business.
While he was sleeping, he dreamed of
meeting the man. Then he said "This is your parcel," and the man
said, "Yes, but the parcel is for you, Ricky." Ricky was confused and
he said, "No, it's your parcel." Suddenly, the man was disappeared.
After that, he heard a voice said "I think you've started. You're on the
way to the knowledge." In the morning, he woke up and said "It was
just a dream."
